Account Manager for

Brand Communications

The Account Manager for Brand Communications is a key member of the team being one of the first points of contact with Clients. This role involves being responsible for handling various accounts simultaneously and is generally responsible in establishing, developing and enhancing the brand’s position, message and image. The Account Manager for Brand Communications is in-charge of strategizing, executing, supervising and overseeing the implementation of communication campaigns. This role also includes representing the client to various media outlets including print, online, broadcast media channels, celebrities and key opinion leaders. Other vital roles also include maintaining and building relations with clients, media, suppliers and industry partners as well as monitoring media coverage and overall management of the account. He/She works closely and collaborates with the Agency’s various team members from Digital, Creative and Art to ensure that campaigns are executed well and in a timely manner.


  • Day-to-day liaison with Client, Media and Personalities which may include any or all of the following:

    • Business correspondences in relation to account being serviced 

    • Ensuring smooth flow and completion of projects 

    • Daily monitoring of various publications and online sites

    • Media relations during events 

    • Administrative tasks and development of reports

  • Idea Generation and Concept Development

  • Development of Plans and Presentations

  • General knowledge and understanding of the business and profitability of the account/project being handled 

  • Contribute to strategy setting for brand growth, communications campaigns and its maximum publicity and project manage the execution of the strategies.

  • Build and maintain client, media and supplier relationships

  • Manage relationships with third-party agencies, including assisting in the evaluation of vendor capabilities and references all the way through to regular communication to ensure deliverables are met

  • Take an active role on project management of communications campaigns, including the management of a detailed calendar aligned to roll-out priorities

  • Develop project plans and manage the work breakdown structure, tasks, timing and resources to execute projects on time and on budget

  • Research and stay abreast of industry trends, consumer and internet behaviour, seeks collaboration opportunities especially if it relates to projects worth pursuing, and share this information back with the working team and Clients.

  •  Development of project end reports with substantial analysis and interpretation of campaign results and recommendation for brand growth and project continuation.

  • Ability to multitask, do market research, understand the target market, its dynamics and provide insights 

  • Above average writing and communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent presentation and interviewing skills 

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel



  • Graduate of Communications, PR, or any related course

  • Preferably with 1-2 years of related work/industry experience
